If you are looking to enjoy your hobbies again, fingerless arthritis gloves are probably what you are looking for. They are very easy to wear while performing daily tasks or when enjoying your favorite hobbies. I find that when I am wearing them my hands don’t get as swollen.
I have used two different types, one with no fingers at all and ones that have half fingers . They both work well. The fingers on the half finger gloves stop just above or below the knuckles.
Some things to think about when choosing fingerless arthritis gloves is where your pain is. If you don’t have any pain in the actual knuckles of your fingers, then ones that don’t have any fingers at all will probably work quite nicely. But if your pain is in the knuckles in your fingers you will probably want the ones that come down over the knuckle.
The big advantage to fingerless arthritis gloves is it still gives your fingers a lot of freedom. Activities like using your phone are going to be impossible with a full finger glove.
You may find that the type of activities you do during the day do not warrant being able to wear gloves. Maybe you have a really dirty job. In this case, you may want to wear the gloves while you are sleeping. I would think then that you would want full finger gloves. This is totally my opinion, but my thought process is that they would help keep your hands warmer which keeps our joints from becoming stiff.

Make sure to check the size charts. You want the gloves to be snug but not too tight. They need to be tight enough to allow the gloves to compress, but not so tight that they are uncomfortable.
Most of these gloves come in pairs. However, some of them only come as one glove. When you are placing your order make sure you know how many gloves you are getting. Are they just one glove or are they a pair? Also, some of the gloves are interchangeable between hands and some are not.
Fortunately there is a wide variety of fingerless arthritis gloves to choose from so it should be easy to find a pair that is right for you!
Here are some choices:
Half Finger Arthritis Gloves
Half finger arthritis gloves, also known as open-finger arthritis gloves, are a type of compression gloves that cover the palm and wrist while leaving the fingers exposed. The open-finger design allows for improved dexterity and freedom of movement, making them ideal for those who need to perform fine motor tasks or who find full-finger gloves uncomfortable. Half finger arthritis gloves can be worn throughout the day or during specific activities to help manage arthritis symptoms.

Fingerless Arthritis Compression Gloves
Fingerless compression gloves are a type of glove that covers the wrist and palm while leaving the fingers exposed. These gloves provide gentle compression that may reduce pain and inflammation associated with arthritis. They are ideal for those who need to use their fingers for typing, writing or similar activities.
