I watched one of those “Does It Work?” TV segments. Apparently, the people demonstrating the product did not read the directions.
At first, they were very impressed as to how the cap came right off. But then they discovered that the cap was lodged into the opener and it wouldn’t come out. What they didn’t realize is the cap is designed to do just that. It is purposely made to grasp and hold the cap after it has been unscrewed from the bottle. This allows the convenience of being able to close the bottle easily when you are finished.
A similar situation happened when they demonstrated the flip top opener. They didn’t pull it back like they should have. Thus, the lid didn’t want to come off.
Unfortunately, they did not demonstrate the product properly. This changed what started out to be a raving review into a bad review. The product did not deserve that. This product works well when used properly. So, my suggestion is to watch the instructional video and make sure you are using it correctly and I think you will be quite happy with it.
